You're sitting easily in your room when out of nowhere, the power goes off. It turns out to be totally dull. Totally dark. You can't see a thing. Despite the fact that it is your own home, life goes to an awkward, complete stop.
That is on the grounds that you can't see a thing! You dare not move, in the dread that you may push something over or more awful still, you may stagger and damage yourself. Awkward and alarming, right?
Presently quick forward to an obscure time later on… … when it will be dull this way and surprisingly more terrible… ..
at the point when you… . what's more, I… … and the entirety of humanity… ..will be assembled in obscurity, before an extension… ..
a scaffold that is more honed than a blade and more slender than a hair… ..
a scaffold called as-Siraat… … .the extension over Hellfire.
At the point when the colleagues got some information about the scaffold, the Prophet (Sal Allaahu Alaiyhi wa Sallam) said:
"It's anything but an elusive (connect) on which there are clips and (snares like) thistles which are wide at one side and thin at the other and have twisted closures… Some of the devotees will cross the scaffold as fast as the wink of an eye, some others as speedy as lightning, a solid breeze, or quick ponies or she-camels. So some will be protected with no mischief; some will be protected in the wake of getting a few scratches, and some will tumble down into Hellfire. The last individual will cross by being hauled (over the extension)." Bukhaari
It will be requested that we as a whole disregard this scaffold. Also, we will have no real option except to consent to the request for our Master and Owner, the Lord of the Worlds. Yet, it will be dim, more obscure than any dimness one can at any point envision… ..
Also, on this awful Day, humanity will be urgent… frantic to do anything, anything, to have some sort of light that will help them see the way and guide them to get over the Siraat.
And afterward… .. there will be light.
Yet, guess what? This light might be as per the light of Imaan that you had in your heart during this Dunya.
On the off chance that your Imaan was solid, so will be this light… .solid and brilliant and enlightening. What's more, if your Imaan was frail, this light will be powerless as well, faint and floundering and weak.
Ibn Kathir revealed in his Tafseer:
"They will ignore the Siraat as per their deeds. Some of them will have a light as extensive as a mountain, some as a date tree, some as large as a man in the standing position. The least among them has a light as large as his pointer, it is lit on occasion and smothered at different occasions." (Ibn Abi Hatim and Ibn Jarir).
Ibn al-Qayyim says:
"For one individual, it (the light) will resemble the sun, for another like the moon, the stars or a light. For one more, this light will be just at the tips of his toes; it will sparkle, then, at that point go out [then sparkle, then, at that point go out]. For similarly as his light had been in this world, so he will be given when crossing the Bridge. Indeed, it is the very light that had appeared to him previously. Notwithstanding, similarly as the poser has no genuine light in this world, or has just an outward light yet none inside, so will he be given [on that Day] an outward light which will evaporate in the haziness and be lost."
They recalled the day of revival!
Al-Qasim canister Mohammed said:
We used to go with Ibn Al-Mubarak and I would frequently think and say to myself: "Would could it be that makes this man more liked than us from which he has achieved this acknowledgment between individuals? Assuming he asks, we implore too, on the off chance that he diets, we quick too, on the off chance that he battles, we battle also, and assuming he goes to hajj, we go to hajj too.
So while heading to Al-Sham, we halted by a house to eat, and afterward (out of nowhere) the light of the lamp went off. A few of us took care of the lamp. He anyway left instantly and when he returned under the lamp, I took a gander at the substance of Ibn Al-Mubarak and (saw) his facial hair was loaded up with tears. I said to myself: with lowliness (dread of God), "This man has been liked over us, and maybe when the lamp went off, and he was left in the obscurity, he recollected the Day of Resurrection!"
A Light so Bright
In the event that you carried on with an existence of nobility and Taqwa, a day to day existence as per Islaam, submitting to your Master, Allaah and atoning to Him, submitting to His charges, expecting His Mercy yet dreading His Wrath, taking consideration not to defy Him as well as could be expected, then, at that point uplifting news for you, O Muslim. Allaah will enlighten your way over the Siraat very much like He enlightened your heart in this Dunya with direction and exemplary nature.
"The Day (will definitely come) when you will see accepting people with their light running before them and on their right hands, (it will be said to them): 'Happy news for you this Day. You will live for ever in Gardens under which streams stream! That is to be sure the strong victory. (Surah Hadeed: 12)
Be that as it may,
In the event that you set out to defy the Lord of the Worlds, following your impulses and wants, procuring haraam, lying, cheating and belittling, associated with a wide range of sins and failing to remember the Aakhirah, then, at that point faint and weak will be your light as per the deeds that YOU decided to submit.
Envision the distress, sadness and misery of an individual in such a circumstance!
Complete, utter murkiness… .. what's more, a scaffold, that he needs to cross… .an extension so sharp thus tricky thus meager, with snares… .extending over Hellfire… .and he can't see a thing! May Allaah save us.
Wouldn't he give anything, anything to have a light that is solid and brilliant… ..
A light that can enlighten his way across the Siraat… .
A light that can take him to Jannah??!!
Oh well… as far as he might be concerned, it will be past the point of no return… ..
In any case, it's anything but past the point of no return for YOU. You actually have time. You actually get an opportunity to make your light large and solid. You should simply to submit to Allaah and apologize earnestly. Comply with whatever He orders you to and avoid whatever He disallows you from. Have Taqwa of Allaah in all that you say and do and Wallaahi, He will light up your heart with Imaan, ease up your life in this Dunya and enlighten your way over the Siraat on to Jannah.
It's what He guaranteed:
"O you who accept! Go to Allaah with true apology! It is possible that your Lord will transmit from you your transgressions, and concede you into Gardens under which waterways stream. The Day that Allaah won't shame the Prophet (Muhammad ) and the individuals who accept with him, their Light will run forward before them and with (their Records Books of deeds) in their right hands they will say: "Our Lord! Keep ideal our Light for us [and don't put it off till we get over the Siraat safely] and award us absolution. Verily, You can do all things .(Surah Tahreem: 8)
Gracious Allaah, make us among those whose light is greater than the mountain and more splendid than the sun. Ameen.
